White stuff on healing gum after bone grafting

Its been two weeks post-bone grafting that I got before I can get my implant. Ever since one week in, I've had white stuff building on top of the gum. So far I thought it was the normal healing process but now I'm starting to have bad breath. Is something wrong? Is there something I should do? I brush around the sides of the gum but try not to go near the stitches and use peridex to rinse every night.
